THE NAME
Our name Antati is derived from two words: Antam (end) and āti (beginning). Antāti, thus meaning the beginning from the end.
Out behind the ideas of wrong-doings and right-doings, there's a field, where the wind blows them leaves like a melody across the Earth. Each branch soon sprout new ones, continuing the mysterious cycle of change— the only constant. To make an end is to make a newer beginning, the end is where we begin from.
OUR BEGINNING
It all began when an eighteen year old made her first ever garment as a design student. The pulchritude of Earth's silent transformations inculcated in her the desire to capture a piece of it. She therefore began experimenting with eco-printing- an art technique that transfers natural patterns and pigments of leaves, petals, roots, seeds onto fabrics.
Deeply fascinated by nature's endless beauty, this sowed a seed, which over the years has grown into a sapling- Antāti.
OUR VISION
Born from the desire to create with intention, we at Antāti aim to craft timeless pieces of handmade clothing using eco-printing and natural dyeing techniques, that honors both heritage and the Earth. Antāti is a celebration of nature's timeless cycles and quiet transformations where each piece carries the gentle imprints of nature for you to cherish and own.
